A Heavy Feeder, For Decades

Oil palm draws heavily on nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium across a productive life that can span 25 years or more. That is a long time for any soil to keep delivering under a purely chemical programme without support.

Common Challenges on Malaysian Estates

Inter-row compaction from traffic, ageing soil under long-term monoculture, and nutrient leaching under heavy tropical rainfall are recurring issues across estates of every size.

Where Biology Fits

NEXGROW is not designed to replace a standard NPK programme outright — it works alongside it. Phosphate-solubilising bacteria improve uptake efficiency from what is already applied, humic and fulvic acids reduce loss through leaching, and organic matter gradually rebuilds structure in the root zone.

A Practical Starting Point

Most estates begin with a trial block — applying NEXGROW alongside the existing programme on a defined section, then comparing frond development, bunch weight and soil condition against an untreated control over one or two rounds.

What To Measure

Agree your metrics before you start: frond count and length, bunch number and average weight, and a soil test at the beginning and end. Without a baseline, a good result is hard to prove.
